5/19/15 Governor Bill Walker okays legislative special session's move to Anchorage

Governor Bill Walker says his priority is for Legislators to pass a fully-funded budget, not where it's done. A Legislative attorney earlier this week said the move from Juneau to Anchorage would be illegal without the Governor's approval.

Indigenous game designers, coders and artists will be in Santa Clara, California this week to talk about the future of the Native gaming industry. And many developers are looking to Alaska for inspiration. KBBI's Shady Grove Oliver talked with Cook Inlet Tribal Council president Gloria O'Neill about the game "Never Alone" CITC developed in collaboration with Inupiaq elders. And Juneau storyteller Ishmael Hope describes his hopes for video games that reflect Native cultures.
