7/7/14 KNBA News - A contracting rep says new rules are costing Native companies billions of dollars

The director of the Native American Contractors Association told the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs 2011 changes to the Small Business Administration 8(a) program has cost Alaska Native Corporations billions of dollars. Sen. Clair McCaskill, of Missouri, a frequent critic of the program, has asked SBA for information on how well the 2011 changes are working.
