As Heard on Morning Line: Alaska Water Wars Producers Daysha Eaton and Brian Adams

Turning Heads Design for Koahnic Broadcast Corporation

Tonight at the Anchorage Museum, a panel discussion launches a multimedia reporting project which may be the first of it's kind - it's called Alaska Water Wars

Alaska Water Wars is a multi-media project sharing the stories of Alaska Native people and large natural resource development projects coming to their regions. The Radio series airs December 4 - 8, 2017 on KNBA at 8:30 am & 5:30 pm.

Award winning radio reporter and producer Daysha Eaton, and acclaimed photographer Brian Adams combine beautiful photography, determined coverage from an excellent reporter who makes the effort to go on-site to where the story is, and National Public Radio quality audio, and unlike almost any other news series, has the perspective of Native people who live in the area affected.

Eaton says, "This project unfolded over six months. We had the time, we took the time to go and talk to people in these communities."

Join the First Friday community event launching the project on Friday December 01, 2017 6:00 pm at the Anchorage Museum, and tune in all next week at 8:30 and 5:30 to heard the radio stories - navigate to www.alaskawaterwars.org to see more.
