As Heard on Morning Line: Jasmin Smith - Entrepreneur to unveil Baby Vend

Koahnic Broadcast Corporation

Jasmin Smith, the entrepreneur behind Baby Vend, a baby supply vending system for parents caught in the world without what they need, had an idea - if she found herself without enough diapers, other parents must as well; what if she catered to their needs?

Smith says she had to create a makeshift diaper while out in public, but later this year, other parents will be able to access supplies from her vending system, Baby Vend.  "Baby Vend will be at the Ted Stevens International Airport, as well as have one at the 5th Avenue Mall Food Court."

Smith is no stranger to Business, as a professor at UAA and a consultant to small business owners at her other company, the Business Boutique.  "I'm usually advising others and so it's really fun to be able to develop my own product line."

The new machines will be available for view at the Baby Vend Unveil Party, Saturday November 3rd at 410 Denali Street in Downtown Anchorage from 2pm to 4pm.

There is also an opportunity for a child to become the Face of Baby Vend.  An announcement reads:

"Join us for a fun day of all things babies with kid friendly refreshments and live entertainment!
