Raina Douris
Raina Douris, an award-winning radio personality from Toronto, Ontario, comes to World Cafe from the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation), where she was host and writer for the daily live, national morning program Mornings on CBC Music. She was also involved with Canada's highest music honors: hosting the Polaris Music Prize Gala from 2017 to 2019, as well as serving on the jury for both that award and the Juno Awards. Douris has also served as guest host and interviewer for various CBC Music and CBC Radio programs, and red carpet host and interviewer for the Juno Awards and Canadian Country Music Association Awards, as well as a panelist for such renowned CBC programs as Metro Morning, q and CBC News.

Seo McPolin
Seo McPolin was born and raised in Chicago. They have worked and volunteered in public media since they were 12 years old, starting with PBS and NPR affiliates WTTW and WBEZ. After stops at Wisconsin Public Radio, APM’s Marketplace, Air America Radio, and The Tavis Smiley Show, they became Digital News Editor for Ireland’s public broadcaster and created the country’s only 24-hour news channel RTÉ News Now. They later became Executive Producer of Smiley & West and The Tight Rope with Cornel West and Tricia Rose. Seo is occasionally heard on NPR newscasts and the NPR News Now podcast covering breaking stories.

Thea assists Koahnic’s management team in seeking federal, state and private funds for new Native project and programming initiatives. Thea began her nonprofit career at Appalshop, an Appalachian media center in Whitesburg, Kentucky where she was also a volunteer announcer for community radio station WMMT. Thea has been a Certified Fund Raising Executive since 2003, and serves on the board of the Alaska Chapter of the Association for Fundraising Professionals.

Nola Daves Moses started in Native radio as a high school intern at her local public radio station KUNM, where she provided production assistance to Native America Calling. In 2001 Nola became the engineer of NAC, and later National Native News when the program moved its production to Albuqueruqe. In 2006 she helped launch Native Voice One as the Program Manager. She now provides technical support to producers and stations to ensure NV1’s programs are distributed to our national audience as the NV1 Distribution Director. She also co-founded for the non-profit Southwest Stages which produced live music radio programs. Nola is a public radio fan, and is also a cloth diaper expert, and enjoys brewing beer and camping with her family.

Larry is Corporate Support Director for Koahnic Broadcast Corporation. He helps customers nationwide with their outreach media campaigns through KNBA 90.3FM and KBC’s national programs; National Native News, Native America Calling and Earthsongs and NV1. Larry has over 25 years’ experience in the media, marketing, and non-profit development industries. He is past President of the American Marketing Association-Alaska Chapter, and has served on its Board of Directors since 1996. In addition to AMA, Larry serves on several Alaska community boards and committees. He is a graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

Adelina Lancianese is the assistant producer for the NPR Story Lab, a creative studio that fosters newsroom experimentation and incubates new podcasts. At the Story Lab, Lancianese works primarily on investigative, long-form projects, and also helps organize the annual Story Lab Workshop for the development of new independent and Member station podcasts.

Alexis Sallee grew up in Anchorage, Alaska of Iñupiat descent. Her love for sound for film and music started at an early age and found its focus in radio when she joined the KNBA team after graduating high school. After working as an Earthsongs sound editor along with Shyanne Beatty for two years, she attended college at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. There she earned a Bachelors of Science in Recording Arts. Alexis now resides in Los Angeles where she hosts INDIGEFI and is involved in the audio post production industry.

Clifton Chadwick is a lifelong resident of Albuquerque New Mexico, a graduate of the University of New Mexico's College of Fine Arts and the father of three daughters.
