Acoustic Accents is Alaska’s radio showcase for great music with an acoustic “accent”. Each week we feature some of the finest singer-songwriters and musicians on the planet. In addition to great tunes, our regular feature “Words and Music” provides in-depth interviews and songs from many of the performers that are heard on the show. Produced at Spin Monkey Productions in the beautiful Upper Tanana Valley of Alaska, Acoustic Accents is broadcast in communities throughout the “Last Frontier”.
I am constantly amazed at the number of talented musicians and songwriters who go largely unnoticed by the listening public. The vast majority of these artists rarely “fit” the narrowly focused formats of commercial radio.
