Chugach National Forest wants you to know:

Youth from the Chugach Children’s Forest will be speaking at and showing the “Stewards of the Land” video during the Outdoor Ethics seminar scheduled Friday, March 31 at 6:00 p.m. in the VIP Room during the Great Alaska Sportsman Show in Anchorage. Sunday April 2  at the Alaska Sportsman Show Stage 4:  Campfire Safety and Bear Aware seminar Alicia King with Chugach National Forest will teach campfire basics on how to build a fire, safety and how to properly put a fire out. Jessica Ilse with Chugach National Forest (and Anchorage Bear Committee) workshop will discuss bear aware basics such as how to travel in bear country, identification of bears and use of deterrents.

The Denali Fish & Game Advisory Committee will meet on Tuesday, April 4th at the Cantwell School library at 7 pm.  Agenda will include a BOG wrap up, discussion of fish and game proposals to submit, and any other business that may properly come before the committee.  For more information contact Don Holum at 768-2900.
