Fairbanks police are looking for a suspect who allegedly shot and wounded a person earlier this week in the Fairbanks eastside Safeway store, and Alaska’s overdose crisis has left many without access to treatment, especially in Southeast. But a tribally-led healing center could mark a turning point.
