Hailing from Fort Collins, Colorado Wasteland Hop has toured through our state many times, notably as it brings front man Mickey Kenny back home to Alaska! The band shares thoughtful lyrics delivered with a Rap/Hip Hop energy and style as the band provides a soundscape created by electric fiddling, acoustic and electric guitars, keys and percussion all played live. They care about the music and the message.The Coloradoan calls them “a striking back-and-forth between soulful lead vocalist Steph Jay and MC Mickey Kenny.” Wasteland Hop has played with Flobots, Air Dubai, Zion I, TalibKweli, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
