Alaska delegates object to how heads were counted for candidates at Republican National Convention

A dispute over the allocation of Alaska's delegates at the Republican national convention sparked dissent as Donald Trump secured his party's nomination for president. State party chairman Tuckerman Babcock had expected the delegate votes to be divvied up according to the results of the Alaska GOP's presidential preference poll unless Sens. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio released their delegates. But the convention's presiding officer gave all Alaska delegates to Trump.
