House adjourns special session

The Alaska House has ended a special session without addressing the state's multibillion-dollar deficit. Gov. Bill Walker had put several proposals before the Legislature, including increased taxes, an income tax, and restructuring of the Permanent Fund.  House Speaker Mike Chenault said there was too much division within the House to come to a consensus.
