Anchorage, AK – As draft regulations are being reviewed, no one seems happy with the results. Oil companies say the new regulations are contradictory and confusing, and new requirements will be costly.
Federal emergency compensation benefits are tied to unemployment rates, and Alaska's unemployment rate has dropped to the point the federal benefits are being phased out.
