Anchorage, AK – The Trans-Alaska Pipeline System will shut down several times this summer for maintenance.
Government auditors to look at management of a commission meant to address life, safety, and infrastructure needs in rural Alaska.
Biologists say the number of wolves in Denali National Park and Preserve is the lowest since wolf counts in the park began in 1986. Two Alaska programs are in a Harvard list of the top 25 government programs in excellence and innovation. The Yukon River Intertribal Watershed Council and the Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program were chosen from among hundreds of applicants.
