Anchorage, AK – About two thousand people are expected at the American Indian Science and Engineering Society convention underway in Anchorage, which includes sessions for high school and college students, professionals, and educators. The National Congress of American Indians says maintaining funding for programs for Native Americans is its top priority for the lame-duck session of Congress.
