Anchorage, AK – A Supreme Court ruling will mean back pay for tribes shorted on health, law enforcement, and land program contract support costs, but there's no telling when it will be decided upon. Lt. Gov. Mead Treadwell gave a preview of upcoming hearings on a ballot initiative to re-establish the Alaska Coastal Management Program. For the first time in years, the percentage of overweight or obese children in the Anchorage School District has dropped.
