Juneau, AK – The Senate Finance Committee releases a bill that would restructure Alaska's oil tax system. Industry representatives say to make Alaska a film-friendly state, Legislators need to put $200 million into a renewed a film tax credit program that has already led to a jump in the number of films being made in Alaska, new jobs, and a boost to rural economies. But they say infrastructure development hinges on the Legislator's decision on whether to renew the program, which is due to sunset in 2013.
