Anchorage, AK – Parents of students in rural Alaska schools have settled a lawsuit with the state over its support of some of Alaska's lowest-performing schools for $18 million, after a judge said the state was not meeting its responsibilities. After a week without, Bethel students have access to flush toilets in their school again after frozen pipes were replaced or thawed.
