Anchorage, AK – A public hearing in Sutton, in the Matanuska valley, on the Usibelli company's Wishbone Hill coal mining project drew hundreds of people, many opposing the 6-million ton strip mining project. Crews are working to restore power to some 5,000 homes and businesses on the Kenai Peninsula, where strong winds knocked down poles and wires.
