Anchorage, AK – The Lake and Peninsula Borough assembly certified the Save Our Salmon Initiative election results, while the Pebble Mine Project continues with planning for permits in 2012. Unemployment in Alaska is 7.6 percent, lower than U.S. rates of 9.1 percent. We hear from some of the people at the Elders and Youth conference held last week in Anchorage.
