Anchorage, AK – The Government Accountability Office says the Indian Health Service is using inconsistent, incomplete and inaccurate data to determine funding levels for a program to pay private sector care providers for speciality and other services provided to Native Americans. A federal administrator says the system has many strengths as well. Alaska Rep. Don Young wants to repeal the last 20 years worth of regulations.
