Anchorage, AK – State legislators heard about a plan to build a natural gas pipelinethat would run from the North Slope along the TransAlaska Pipeline route, then turn at Fairbanks and follow the Parks Highway. It would serve Alaskan residents. Villagers are searching for Gilbert Kilbuck, who was washed overboard from a 24-foot skiff in Goodnews Bay. A survey finds 8.5% of Alaskan teens have considered suicide, cmpared to 6.3% nationwide. Alaska Native teens make up 70 percent of teenage suicides in Alaska.
