Anchorage, AK – A bill to extend the Alaska Coastal Management Program failed to pass the State House of Representatives. Gov. Sean Parnell had announced he would veto it if it did pass. Anchorage School District Superintendent Carol Comeau announces plans to retire on June 30, 2012. The Air and Army National Guard medevac a baby and two high-risk pregnant women from remote Little Diomede.
