Anchorage, AK – Traffic through the Bering Strait is up and Arctic residents are working to prepare for future changes. Alaska and the United States need deep water ports, icebreakers, scientific research, policies, and greater collaboration with other Arctic nations, according to participants at the Arctic Imperative Summit in Girdwood.
