Anchorage, AK – More than a 100 tribal leaders are meeting in Anchorage to discuss the world their children and grandchildren will inherit. Hunting and fishing, the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, and land are their main concerns. When President Kennedy formed the first SEAL team, Tsimpshian Solomon Atkinson of Metlakatla was among its members. The State Legislature will honor him tomorrow [Friday].
