Crowded House On World Cafe

When Crowded House released its hit single "Don't Dream It's Over" in 1987, the song became an international hit and reached No. 2 on the U.S. charts. While 1987 may have been the height of commercial success for the band, Neil Finn and his bandmates did go on to release three more pop-rock classics before an eventual break-up in 1996.

After original band member and longtime friend Paul Hester committed suicide in 2005, the remaining members of Crowded House reunited to release two new albums, 2007's Time On Earth and this year's Intriguer. The latter has been heralded as one of the group's best, suggesting that the group may be fully adjusted to its new lineup.

Finn joins host David Dye in the WXPN studios for a lengthy interview interspersed with recordings of the band's show on the World Cafe Live stage earlier this year.
