Mitchell gave us an update on House Concurrent Resolution 19 - "Urging Governor Walker to issue an administrative order recognizing a linguistic emergency" - the resolution passed the Community and Regional Affairs Committee.

Mitchell says the testimony given to the Committee during the hearing Tuesday, which was extended to Thursday as well was overwhelmingly in support of the Resolution, "Not one piece of testimony opposed the resolution, it was all positive."

More information about the Resolution is available at the Bill's page: http://www.akleg.gov/basis/Bill/Detail/30?Root=HCR19
