Today’s guests on Morning Line featured Our Community contributor, Rodney McCord and AHTNA dance group member, Arthur Stevens.

The ATHNA dance group began in 2012 with 20 active members and met bi-weekly. The purpose of the group was to help the youth realize their culture through song and dance. Eventually, Stevens relocated to Hawaii and the group disbanded. Now back in Alaska, he hopes to form the group together once again with the help of Samuel Johns, but this time it would expand beyond song and dance. With a rebrand, Stevens hopes to touch upon the history of the AHTNA people, language, arts and crafts, and science.
