On Friday, June 12th, Choctaw singer/songwriter  Samantha Crain joined Native Voice One's Shyanne Beatty in the KNBA studio to talk about recent endeavors. Topics included her most recent album, Kid Face, which was recorded and mixed in just nine days, as well as touring. Samantha Crain just completed a tour with artist Buffy Sainte-Marie.

The Young Dubliners returned to Alaska May 7th and are very likely to be Alaska's Favorite Celtic rock band. The band stops here consistently and the Alaska audience loves em! The Dubs are a hard working band playing hundreds of shows to thousands of fans across the US and Europe every year. The band has appeared on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, had songs featured in TV shows (Sons Of Anarchy, Human Target) and toured extensively as a headliner and as the opener for such a diverse list of artists as The Flaming Lips, Collective Soul, Jethro Tull, Johnny Lang and many more.

Friday April 24, 2015 the Fairbanks band HARM journeyed down to Anchorage for a show at the Tap Root and made certain that they included a stop at KNBA for a Live In-Studio session!  Not shying away from the Anchorage Press definition as a feminist supergroup, the band is comprised of Rebecca File, Annie Bartholomew, Molly McDermott, Heather Warren, Jon Heintz, Laila O’Sullivan, and Jack Ewers.  The videos provide a great look and feel to the band's music.
