KNBA keeping you in tuned with Our Community! In today's segment, Danny Preston speaks with Vivian Melde and Shirley Mae Springer. Both women conceptualized We Came to Stay, which is an upcoming  project that is a collection of unknown or lesser known stories that highlights community upbringings. The project is part of the Centennial Celebration and Alaska will be turning 100 this year! They would like everyone to come to the event on Saturday, Aprill 11th, from 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM. It's all taking place at the Wendy Williamson auditorium. There will be stories, music, multicultural dancers, singers, and more!
