Koahnic Broadcast Corporation

Our Guest today on Morning Line is an up-and-coming author, as well as a celebrated contributor in the field of communications in the Anchorage Area - Jamey Bradbury is one of this year's Alaska Top-40-Under-40 and will be recognized at an Awards Dinner April 27th at the Captain Cook  Hotel.

Tonight, however, you can catch her at the new neighborhood-friendly The Writer's Block Bookstore and Cafe, for a signing of her new novelThe Wild Inside.

Bradbury will also be at Costco on Debarr Satuday starting at 1pm for a book signing. She says she worked on the novel for 4 or 5 years, waking at 5am to write before her regular full time job.

The theme of the novel features a mushing family, preparing for the Iditarod, with the lead character, Tracy Petrikoff, encountering a mysterious stranger in the woods, who later shows up injured at her family home.  Tracy has questions - did she cut this guy? Is he a threat? Why doesn't she remember?

The book will be available at the signings, and is also available in stores.
