Alaskans love things that go "Vroom," and today on Morning Line on, we chatted with Kid's Kupboard Executive Director Lynette Ortolano, who let us know the connection between awesome cars and filling, nutritional meals for kids.
Rev Alaska is an indoor car show this weekend which will donate proceeds to Kids Kupboard.
Ortolano says the organization also looks for volunteers as it serves the needs of hungry children. Kids Kupboard also reaches out beyond school district locations, as well as during times when school is out, like now, during summer vacation.
