Koahnic Broadcast Corporation seeks a highly motivated, goal-driven,
community-oriented individual to join its successful development
team.
The KNBA Membership Director develops successful membership
campaigns both on-air and off air with local public radio
station KNBA 90.3 fm. The Membership Director is responsible
for all communication and outreach to KNBA members, coordinates
bi-annual on-air fundraisers, and directs all volunteer efforts.
The Director is responsible for securing major sponsorships
from corporations and other donors to meet revenue goals and
will participate in public relations activities.
The Director participates with marketing campaigns for various
Koahnic events, including the Annual Native Art Auction and
AFN Gavel-to-Gavel Coverage. The candidate requires both strong
communication skills as well as organizational and administrative
skills.
Desired applicants will have previous experience with maintaining
a membership database; strong writing and interpersonal skills;
and high-quality product standards. This project is based
in Anchorage, Alaska, and may require travel. Salary DOE,
includes benefits. Closing date is December 31, 2007.
